As we approach nearly four years of live streaming and three years on FM radio, it’s incredible to reflect on the musical journey we’ve embarked on together. Powerzone has been a platform for hard-to-find hits, beloved favorites, and an avenue for discovering new music.
Over the years, we’ve ventured into specials that deviate from our regular format, sparking mixed yet generally positive feedback from our dedicated audience. Your support and engagement have been invaluable, and I want to express my gratitude for being part of this musical adventure.
Behind the scenes, crafting four hours of radio content each week involves a significant investment of time and effort, often spanning several days. While this process is rewarding, some weeks pose unique challenges. There’s a desire to create more online-only specials and produce new imaging, but time constraints from other commitments have proven to be a hurdle.
Taking into account recent feedback and these time constraints, I find myself contemplating the future of the show. The live streams offer a broader musical mix compared to the targeted, rock-focused one-hour FM shows, which have been well-received by our audience.
